East Central Regional Library has determined that a criminal background check may be necessary for positions within the organization. Applicants may be required to sign an informed consent form allowing East Central Regional Library to obtain their criminal history in connection with the position of employment sought. Branch Library Assistant; $12.35 per hour starting

ECRL is currently accepting applications for Branch Library Assistant at the North Branch Area Library.

The Branch Library Assistant is responsible for the clerical operations of the automated library circulation system. The assistant is also responsible for the operations of a branch library, under the direction of the Branch Librarian. Ability to work courteously and effectively with other employees and the public; ability to read, comprehend and orally communicate English; ability to be tactful and adept in dealing with a wide variety of people; ability to interpret library policies, resources, and services to others. Candidate must have good technology skills.

North Branch Area Library (6-10 hours/week).  Review of applications will begin on September 24, 2021, and continue until filled.
