What was it really like to be a pirate and live aboard a ship on the high seas? What were the dangers, and why did they choose to live the pirate life?
Minnesota historical reenactor and educator Arn Kind is back, and this time he’s bringing his historical program about pirates to North Branch Area Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19. Learn fact from fiction about piracy, from ancient times to modern day pirates. By the way, September 19 is also “talk like a pirate day.”
People of all ages are invited to this free program presented by the East Central Regional Library and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
