Civil War Experience at Cambridge Public Library

Arn Kind, member of the First MN Volunteer Infantry Regiment, a reenactment group based out of Fort Snelling, will be presenting the program, “The Civil War Experience” at the Cambridge Public Library on Monday, April 24 at 6:00 pm.  In this presentation you will learn about the causes of the Civil War, the events learning to the war, why men volunteered to fight in America’s bloodiest war, about the daily life, uniforms and equipment of soldiers and how the Civil War was fought.

Join us for this informational and entertaining program.  The event is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
