ECRL Reads: Celtic music with ‘Stringman’ Paul Imholte

Experience the sweet sounds of Celtic music with “Musical Stringman” Paul Imholte during a special ECRL Reads performance at the Mille Lacs Lake Community Library in downtown Isle.

The performance will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25. Imholte performs Irish and Scottish reels and jigs on the fiddle and hammered dulcimer, sings traditional ballads and leads sing-alongs with his guitar and banjo. He uses original songs to echo the experience of Irish emigrants to America. Along with his solo work, Imholte is a founding member of the Celtic/American band Ring of Kerry.
