ECRL Reads: Wendy Webb to visit, discuss The Fate of Mercy Alban

Two-time Minnesota Book Award winner Wendy Webb, author of this year’s ECRL Reads title, The Fate of Mercy Alban, will be visiting four East Central Regional Library branches as the culminating event to the 2nd Annual ECRL Reads. Mark your calendars:

Books also will be available for sale at these events.

Webb was born and raised in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. When she was about 11 years old, her school librarian suggested she read A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. From that point on, she knew what she was meant to do in life—write novels like that one.

Webb won Minnesota Book Award honors for The Tale of Halcyon Crane (2011) and The End of Temperance Dare (2018). Today, she divides her time between homes in Duluth and Minneapolis, and a cabin on the Gunflint Trail.

ECRL Reads is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
