ALL ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY ELECTIONS OFFICES BY 11/3 IN ORDER TO BE COUNTED
A court ruling yesterday (10/29) now requires that absentee ballots must be received by elections offices by 11/3 in order to be counted. The previous deadline—postmarked by 11/3, received by 11/10—no longer applies.
If you have a ballot, DO NOT mail it in!
Ways you can securely submit a ballot:
- Hand-deliver your absentee ballot to your local elections office.
- Ask someone to hand-deliver your absentee ballot for you. Registered voters can deliver a maximum of 3 other people’s ballots.
- Vote in-person today (Friday), tomorrow (Saturday), or Monday at your local elections office.
- Vote in-person Tuesday at your polling place.
- Note: You CANNOT hand-deliver to your absentee ballot to your polling place (unless it is also your local elections office).
Use Track Your Ballot to check the status of your absentee ballot.
If your absentee ballot has not been received, you can still vote early in-person or on Election Day at your polling place to ensure your vote will be counted and your absentee ballot will be nullified.
