Embroider with Porcupine Quills

Join us at the Chisago Lakes Area Library on Tuesday, June 27 at 2:00 pm for a program led by the Audubon Center of the North Woods.  Students will meet a live porcupine while learning about the animal’s natural history. Students will create a quilled design on a birch bark medallion to take home after observing a demonstration of quill embroidery technique.

For ages 12-17. Pre-register (required) at the library or call 651-257-2817 and ask for the Chisago Lakes branch.  Class size limited! Workshop materials provided.

The program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
