Get Ready to Laugh with Mary Mack

You may have seen her on television shows like Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham or NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Now you can experience first-hand this native Minnesotan’s unique brand of stand-up comedy closer to home.

Folk humorist Mary Mack is bringing her endearing, slightly quirky stage presence to the Milaca City Hall Council Room on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Recommended for ages 13 and up, the performance is presented by the Milaca Community Library and East Central Regional Library.

Mack delivers a one-of-a-kind performance with her mandolin sing-alongs and off-kilter stories of life as a former polka band leader, music teacher and all-around confused individual. Starting her entertainment career in Nashville, she now tours the country in her $400 Dodge Neon, splitting the rest of her time between Los Angeles and Minneapolis.

This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Milaca City Hall is located at 255 1st St. E. in downtown Milaca.
