Teens are invited to learn about henna tattoos and may even create a design on themselves during a special event at the Milaca Community Library.
East Central Regional Library presents a henna tattoo workshop on Tuesday, June 26, starting at 1 p.m. Participants ages 12-17 will learn how to make henna paste and draw both traditional and modern designs. Participants also may create a henna tattoo on themselves, as long as they have permission from a parent or guardian. Permission forms will be available at the library ahead of time and at the workshop. Henna tattoos are 100 percent natural and last approximately two weeks to a month.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required for this workshop. Sign up on the Events Calendar. This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
