Poetry Workshop at Cambridge Public Library

Find inspiration for generating your own new writing and learn the language essentials of poetic language. Adult poets of all backgrounds and abilities are invited to participate in a 2 hour workshop.  No prior experience is necessary.  Award-winning writer, Rachel Moritz will be presenting the workshop at the Cambridge Public Library on Tuesday, April 11 starting at 6:00 pm.  She is the author of Borrowed Wave, a finalist for the 2015 Minnesota Book Award in Poetry, and five poetry chapbooks.  Ms. Moritz has taught writing in community and academic settings, and currently teaches with Alzheimer’s Poetry Project Minnesota, COMPAS, Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop, and Poetry Barn.

You must pre-register to attend the workshop.  Stop by in person at the Cambridge Public Library or call us at 763-689-7390 to register. This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
