Relive your favorites on Children’s Book Day

Remember when Max sailed off to a faraway land in Where the Wild Things Are? Or the time Charlotte spun “Some Pig” for Wilbur and all to see in Charlotte’s Web? Who can forget Peter Rabbit’s daring escape from Mr. McGregor in his garden?

Today is Children’s Book Day, the perfect time to read through these stories and all of your childhood favorites again and share them with your children or grandchildren.

East Central Regional Library has a fine collection of children’s storybooks at each of its 14 branch locations. You can also search for a book or any of our Storytime to Go kits in our online Library Catalog.

Spread the love of reading with a child on Children’s Book Day, and help foster the imagination of the next generation!
