We have seen the amazing pictures of wildlife in magazines, but have you ever wondered how and to what lengths the photographers go to capture those moments?
East Central Regional Library presents Steve Maanum, an award-winning educator, wildlife photographer and writer, who will be delivering a presentation on his craft at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 at the Sandstone Public Library. His presentation will include tips and techniques for getting your own great photos close to home while staying within your budget.
Maanum has found a unique way of blending his backgrounds and experiences together during his presentations. As an outdoor communicator, he strives to help others make nature connections through his family-style photography workshops, nature writing/photography sessions in schools and at Young Writers’ and Artists’ conferences, and through his community presentations.
This project was funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
